There are three stages that are involved in the working process of a vending machine. This process includes

Modern machines will activate the motor, which in turn spirals a merchandise dispense. The metal coil is designed in a coil shape so that the merchandise can be inserted between each of the ridge.
As the monitor spins the coil, rotation pushes the items forward in same way as the screw pulling the debris out of a hole. The coil is slightly longer than the shelf so that when the item reaches at the end it simply falls into the bin which the customer then receives the item.
